Lessons

The instructors of the Moncton Language Help Project focus on what you need and therefore most of our lessons are not standardized. We will be glad to help you with a wide range of language needs:

Do you simply want to improve your conversation skills?
Do you need to become a more effective writer?
Do you struggle due to limited vocabulary?
Do you require help to write the IELTS, CELPIP, or any other test?
Do you want to become an expert at grammar?

Service	Fee*
Private lessons	$40/hr
Semi-private lessons (2 participants)	$25/hr per person
Small group lessons (3 participants)	$20/hr per person
Small group lessons (4 participants)	$15/hr per person
Conversation drop-in	$10/hr per person
Grammar drop-in	$10/hr per person
Proofreading and editing	pricing upon request

Notes:
Initial lessons are offered in blocks of 10. Subsequent lessons TBD with instructors.
All blocks of lessons must be paid in full at least 48 hours prior to start date.
Individual lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance otherwise the reserved time slot will be counted as a lesson.
No refunds will be given after the first lesson.
The first lesson will include an assessment and discussion about goals and expectations.
Books may be recommended by the instructor.
Homework will be assigned and students are expected to come to class prepared.

Upon request, we can offer English Language & Canadian Culture Conversation Courses for small groups that run from five to 10 weeks in length.
